Website Starter Package

A WordPress website built with SEO-first structure, clear messaging, and conversion-ready foundations.

If your website is going to support your business long-term, it needs more than a nice layout. It needs the right pages, the right structure, and
clear signals so both search engines and real people understand what you do and what to do next.
This is a one-time build fee. You own your domain, hosting, and website.

A website built as a business asset, not just a design

Your website is not just a visual product. It is part of your business infrastructure.

This package is designed to give you a strong, durable foundation so you are not rebuilding your site a year from now because it looks fine but does not actually support growth.

A well-built website should:

  • Clearly explain your services and value
  • Guide visitors toward the right next step
  • Support SEO growth over time through structure and clarity
  • Remain usable, accessible, and easy to maintain
SEO-friendly website code structure used in professional website builds for long-term search visibility.

Who this package is for (and who it’s not)

This package is a good fit if:

  • You are a small business owner, founder, or service provider
  • You need a professional WordPress website built correctly from the start
  • You want your site structured to support SEO long-term
  • You value clarity, usability, and ownership over shortcuts
  • You want a site you can manage yourself or confidently hand off for maintenance

This package may not be a fit if:

  • You need a large or complex build right away (ecommerce, memberships, portals, custom apps)
  • You want ongoing SEO bundled into a one-time website fee
  • You are looking for a rushed build with minimal planning
  • You want design-first work without strategy or structure

If you are unsure, a short consult will help us confirm fit quickly and honestly.

Copy Options

You choose the approach that works best for you:

Option 1: You provide the copy

You supply the page text, and I structure and format it for clarity, usability, and SEO-friendly layout.

Option 2: SEO-focused copywriting
(add-on)

I write or rewrite page copy based on a short intake, your services, and your audience. This is common for new businesses or sites that need clearer messaging.

All significant copy is reviewed and approved by you before publishing.

What “SEO-first” means in this website build

SEO-first does not mean guaranteed rankings or instant traffic.

It means the site is built so SEO work is possible and effective over time.

That includes:

  • Pages that match real search intent
  • Clear page purpose and hierarchy
  • Clean internal linking paths
  • Headings that reflect how people scan and search
  • Technical foundations that help search engines crawl and understand your site

A strong foundation does not replace ongoing SEO, but it does prevent structural issues that slow growth later. For more about SEO, check out our page about what SEO can and cannot do.

The Building Process

1. Strategy Intake

We clarify your services, audience, goals, and what success looks like for this version of your site.

3. Design and build

I build the site in WordPress with a clean, responsive layout and accessible structure.

2. Structure and page planning

We confirm the page set, section layout, and conversion paths before building.

4. Content and on-page setup

We add your copy or draft new copy, then finalize headings, metadata, and internal structure.

5. Launch and handoff

We launch the site, verify functionality, and review how to manage it going forward.

What happens after launch

After launch, you have clear options depending on how involved you want to be.

Option 1: Simply Manage the site yourself

You own the site and can update content, publish posts, and make changes as needed.

Option 2: Ongoing website maintenance (recommended)

Most business owners prefer to outsource updates, backups, and security so they can focus on running their business.

Option 3: Add SEO as a separate service

If you want to grow traffic through search, SEO continues after launch through strategy, content, and optimization work.

Each option is independent. You are never locked into ongoing services.

Website maintenance

WordPress is software. Software needs regular updates to stay secure and functional.

Website maintenance typically includes:

Website maintenance does not include:

You may manage maintenance yourself, or outsource it. If you manage it yourself, I will still recommend best practices so your site stays protected.

Pricing and what affects cost

Website Starter Package begins at $1,200

Final pricing depends on:

  • Whether copywriting is included
  • Whether this is a new build or a rebuild of an existing site
  • Layout complexity
  • Content volume and revision needs

If your needs extend beyond the starter scope, we will discuss options and pricing before any work begins.

Additional costs to plan for

Your build fee covers the website structure and build work. Most websites also involve third-party costs paid directly by you so you retain full ownership.

These may include:

  • domain registration
  • web hosting
  • paid plugins if required
  • third-party tools such as booking platforms or email services
  • specialized functionality outside the starter scope

I will always recommend the simplest tools that support your goals.
